Competitors are divided into the following age divsions with
age appropriate events for each:

Within each division individual races are held for each year and
gender (e.g 7 year old girls, 8 year old girls, 9 year old
girls etc ) and for combined age groups for team events (e.g. 10
& 11 year old board relay). Points are taken for individual
races to determine the top three placings in each year group over
the season.
Competition Equipment
All Lyall Bay competitors must wear a club beanie (which
identifies you as a member of the Lyall Bay club). We
encourage the children to also wear club rashvests and club
togs.
The younger chidlren may wear wetsuits.
The club provides all boogie boards, paddle boards and other
racing equipment.
Please bring to all competitions:
- sunscreen, water, food ( the host club usually has
BBQ food to purchase), sunhat and club sweatshirts etc
